In the Room
It was a simple hotel with simple facilities but the breakfast was very nice with freshly made coffee, orange juice, toasted baguette and you could help yourself to cereal. And the man who served it was lovely too.
It was pretty stark with not much going on, ok for a quick trip. The receptionist could have been more welcoming. Also it is not over the road from the bus station (as I read on the booking screen), but down the road - I was a little confused when I got there in the dark.
Quiet neighborhood, safe underground parking, decent breakfast included.
No elevator from 3rd to 4th floor, had to go up stairs with luggage. The ceiling was slanting down on one side and my husband bumped his head many times. The walls were moldy and the bedspread dirty. Wi-fi did not work in the room or the designated lounge area, had to pay to use computer in the lobby.
Great to have parking and the hostal was clean and well located.
Good location, near by both bus station and walking street.Clean and quiet worth value for money reception lady is very friendly and smiling face.
Hotel should advise to all clients to respect others by keeping quiet not to talk out loud especially when they return to hotel from outside at night time.
Secure parking attached to hotel, at a reasonable rate. Good clean accommodation, quiet, and good location. Short walk to main part of the city. Staff fairly friendly.
Hotel is basic but perfectly OK on all fronts - comfort, cleanliness, helpful staff. Wealthier people than me (of whom there are many) might want to pay more and bask in more luxurious surroundings, but poorer people than me (of whom there are also many) will be delighted with the place. In terms of value for money, this hotel cannot be faulted and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody. And it's bang in the middle of town - you exit the bus station and you're there.
location. near to railway station. very easy to find. very comfortable if you want to stay one or two nights or travel lot from Madrid by train. Basic hotel, if you want to see Madrid it is not very nice, too ordinary.
its very near the bus stop, which is very idea for backpackers to load their baggages before starting their city walk. The breakfast is quite nice as well.
I arrived at the 26th of dec. and though the official check in time was 13:00. The hotel was completely closed (locked) when I arrived at 12:00am, which it said on the door that the staff ought to arrived to open the hotel by 12:00. we waited for 15 minutes before someone came. It didn't feel really good not knowing whether your hotel is going to open or not when you have already made your reservation.
For the money, good value. Room was clean and of a good size, and included breakfast was good and served promptly.
Free internet for those who don't have their own computer would be a nice add-on.
The location of the hotel was quite nice, close to the station and the town centre. The breakfast staff was nice.
Staff at checkin were not rude, but not friendly either. My room had one window facing the staircase, so there was no natural light, and I could not have the curtains or window open. It was quite noisy at night as everyone walked up and down just past my window. The room smelled terribly strongly of old cigarette smoke, and despite it being "strictly not smoking" there was an ashtray next to the bed, which I guess explains the smell. The bed wasn't very comfortable - the wooden headboards are not attached to the cheap metal bases at all. I suppose for the price I paid I can't really complain, plus it was clean and conveniently located, but it didn't make for a pleasant stay at all.
location, just 50 meters from bus station and 500 meters from train station
Very conveniently located near the bus and train stations and it is still easy to walk into the old town. The room we stayed in was comfortable and surprisingly spacious - good value. Great to have a lift in the building.
I was positively surprised about the value for the low cost.
Breakfast was good. It was quite near to old town and interestinf places to go by walk. Good quiding to go to the hotel.
Quite old fashion. The other bed was bad.
Absolutely horrendous, my bedroom was as big as the bathroom.Horrible Staff, Avoid it, you get much better for the same money. I was fooled by the adverts online. horrible and very rude stuff.
